This service includes for arriving guests:
• We meet the clients in the arrivals hall and assist them to the coach, car hire, shuttle service or the next relevant terminal for a departing flight.
• We liaise with the relevant coach driver, before the group is escorted out to the coach terminal, to ensure that all is in place.
• If required by the tour operator, luggage will be loaded onto large trolleys and transferred to the relevant terminal.
• If required by the clients and time permitting, we will assist clients with money exchange, and the renting of mobile phones.
• Documentation will be discussed with the relevant clients, and if the clients have special requests regarding their itineraries, we will advise the
agent or tour operator on the client’s behalf.
• We will advise the agent or tour operator about any flight delays concerning their clients
This service includes for departing guests:
• We liaise with the relevant coach driver to ensure that the coach is running on time, and that their arrival at the coach terminal will run smoothly
• Arranging porters (if required by tour operator) with large trolleys beforehand, to off load the coach and transfer the luggage to the relevant
terminal.
• We will advise the agent or tour operator about any flight variations or flight delays concerning their clients.
• Assisting with sending of luggage at the check-in counters.
• Escorting clients to the security point at the departure hall.
Other services offered by Airport Ushers at an extra charge:
Luggage Storage and Transferring
• We offer to store luggage in a safe environment. We will collect the baggage from the clients (airport or accommodation) and take them to the
storage space. A daily charge applies at R50 per bag per day.
• We are also able to transport luggage, short and long distance, to the next destination. Please contact us for rates.
• Airfreight between Cape Town and Johannesburg available. It will be charged per actual weight and will be charged per kilogram. Please contact
us for rates.
